CONSULTANT / FACILITATOR

Responsibilities as a Consultant / Facilitator

You will be responsible for a broad range of consulting and facilitation-related activities including, but not limited to proposal writing, project and resource planning, quantitative/qualitative research design and analysis, and stand-up training/delivery of workshops and programmes.


Your core responsibilities will comprise:

  • Assist senior consultant(s) in the timely, effective and successful implementation of various projects

  • Think through, conceptualize and develop customized proposals for clients

  • Design and implement research studies (e.g. Voice of Customer surveys, focus groups) for data collection and analysis

  • Conduct secondary research in formulating comprehensive solutions

  • Develop and facilitate workshops and other experiential learning solutions – particularly in the area of customer experience and leadership development

  • Maintain good client relations at the working level

  • Stay abreast of relevant industry trends, customers’ concerns and current challenges

  • Work collaboratively with team members across the Emerge Family network


Where necessary and as part of specific project requirements, this role may involve some travel to regional cities – within Southeast Asia and China (between 5-20% of your time).


Candidates Must Demonstrate

  • At least 3-4 years of experience and expertise in designing and facilitating workshops for corporate audiences

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with an authentic and confident presence that builds trust

  • Self-leadership and motivation, ability to work with multiple stakeholders under tight timelines and pressure

  • Excellent project management skills, being highly-organized and adaptable to different environments

  • Business acumen in picking up client’s business challenges, industry trends and changes

  • Passion and drive for quality work and results at the highest standards

  • Emotional intelligence and ability to collaborate and influence, as a team-player

  • An openness and willingness to learn and be hands-on

  • Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese (read, written and spoken)

Other Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in one or more of these relevant fields – Business Management/Administration, Economics, Human Resources, Marketing, Psychology, Social Sciences

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint

  • A background in management consulting, training and/or customer experience will be an advantage

  • Kindly note that the candidate must have at least 3-4 years of training and/or facilitation experience
